At the Banyan School, we recognize the critical importance of extra-curricular activities in the development of social skills and interpersonal relationships. Because our children travel from many different locations to attend our program, we strive to provide activities within the context of the school day that will meet this essential need. As such, we offer a variety of clubs, sports, and activities within the school program.
In addition, we offer a unique program on alternate Saturdays, which is available to students on a voluntary basis. This program, known as Saturday School, provides students with a structured play date, either on site, or in the form of a supervised field trip. Our Saturday School program is an extracurricular activity that offers a variety of supervised experiences that help students develop a sense of belonging. Also, it provides an avenue for connection to the community, while enhancing social and life skills.
